Mom still loves to travel.
And so does Dad.
But after all the strokes/mini heart attacks, Dad just doesn't move as fast as the other kids.
*And that is totally okay*
When they vacation it is always a tour situation, so either they:
*get left in the dust
*hold up the pack.
(Tours tend to have tight schedules, you know. It is what it is.)
To solve the problem, Mom decided to buy a chair.
HENCE,
THE #UNBOXING.
The Drive Cruiser III is pretty sturdy, as far as we have been testing it out inside the house.
I like that it is monochrome.
IT IS very heavy.
I still haven't weighed it, even now, but that CANNOT be 38 pounds.
There is just NO way.
Overall I think it is a good buy.
I am unsure how portable it is.
Mom will attest to that after the trip.
We have been coaxing Dad to try to use it BEFORE the trip, but no dice.
There is nothing wrong with needing a chair.
Life happens, things change, and sometimes you need a little more help and you know what?
That's okay.
There is nothing wrong with that.
I have been trying to reassure him that it's fine, bc my pride comes from that guy.
And I am sure somewhere deep inside his pride is hurt,
seeing that most of his friends are not yet needing the same kind of assistance of canes/chairs yet.
measures
closed about 12" across
open about 24" across
length is about 48"
